At 18:18 on August 8, 2019, the 18th World Police and Firefighters Game was officially kicked off at the Chengdu Shuangliu Sports Center. This year's World Police Game is held in the Asian city for the first time. It was the largest sports event in the history of Chengdu, and also a comprehensive sport event with the highest level of internationalization and the largest number of foreign guests. Nearly 10,000 athletes and their families participated in the competition of 56 projects.
